Welcome to Yarn Crochet Garden
Where Creativity Meets Cozy!
Hi there! My name is Jennifer, and I’m the designer and founder behind Yarn Crochet Garden.
My love for crochet began as a childhood hobby. Over the years, that initial spark grew into a deep passion, but life took a few turns before it became my full-time creative path.
At age 50, after losing my long-time career in computer programming, I turned back to my hooks and began transforming my love for hand-drawn artwork into unique yarn designs. Combining my technical background with my creative eye, I built yarncrochetgarden.com from the ground up to share my digital patterns with makers around the world.
Today, I’ve created over 170 original filet crochet blanket patterns, reached more than 10,000 happy makers across my shop and platforms, and maintained a 4.8-star rating.
For me, crochet is far more than just a way to pass the time. There is a quiet, meditative magic in watching a simple skein of yarn transform into a heirloom keepsake or a piece of art. It’s a gentle, powerful way for women to reconnect with their creativity, step away from daily stress, and turn simple stitches into something deeply meaningful.
Our Mission
I know that complex charts and unorganized instructions can feel intimidating—especially when you just want a peaceful crafting session.
My mission is to remove those barriers by designing original, beginner-friendly filet crochet blanket patterns that are clear, rewarding, and fun to follow. Whether you’re picking up a hook for the very first time, crafting a special gift for a new baby, or you’re a seasoned pro looking for a relaxing project, my goal is to make your creative process effortless and joyful.
